Ludwig is a self-taught AI engineer with a master's degree from the Technical University of Munich and has been implementing innovative AI applications for five years.
He is convinced that AI can only create value if it is used productively in practical applications and is therefore particularly interested in the further development of the German AI ecosystem. This is why he decided to become the first AI Engineer of the Innovation Park Artificial Intelligence (IPAI) in Heilbronn in 2023, in order to build the largest AI ecosystem in the EU.
In his daily work at the appliedAI initiative, Ludwig works at the intersection of technical software development and customer-facing project management, where he is currently one of the experts for Large Language Model applications.
He started his professional career in the Bavarian automotive industry, where he also learned to appreciate agile software development in a software lab in Barcelona. During that time he worked in the areas of autonomous driving, driver assistance systems, and the innovation department for the production line.
In his free time, Ludwig enjoys jogging in the vineyards, bouldering in the climbing gym, and cheering on Max and Red Bull.
